Certified Production Planning & Control Professional/Manager (CPPCP)™/(CPPCM)™

The Certified Production Planning & Control Professional/Manager (CPPCP)™/(CPPCM)™ certification program is an industry-recognized qualification designed for professionals aiming to excel in optimizing production workflows, managing manufacturing resources, and ensuring seamless coordination between production, procurement, and distribution. In today’s competitive manufacturing and service environments, effective production planning and control is essential to meeting customer demand, minimizing costs, reducing waste, and improving efficiency. This program equips participants with advanced skills in forecasting, scheduling, capacity planning, workflow optimization, quality assurance, and performance monitoring. By combining operational expertise with strategic insight, the CPPCP™/(CPPCM)™ certification ensures professionals can design and execute production systems that consistently deliver high-quality outputs, on time and within budget.

Production planning and control extends far beyond setting production schedules—it involves balancing resources, managing lead times, integrating technology, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations. Participants in this program will explore demand forecasting, materials requirement planning (MRP), just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing, lean production, and statistical process control. The curriculum emphasizes the integration of production planning with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, the application of automation and Industry 4.0 technologies, and the adoption of sustainable production practices. Learners will also gain expertise in risk mitigation strategies to handle equipment breakdowns, supply chain disruptions, and demand fluctuations.

Whether managing a manufacturing plant, overseeing multi-line production processes, or coordinating complex project-based operations, graduates of the CPPCP™/(CPPCM)™ program will be equipped to lead with efficiency, adaptability, and strategic foresight. The program prepares professionals to anticipate challenges, leverage data-driven decision-making, and implement best practices that improve operational performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
